502 Project Working Groups

The 502 Project Critical Infrastructure Protection and Security Working Group model emerged in late 2023 and early 2024.

The initial and ongoing goals of The 502 Project Critical Infrastructure Security Committee are to document and coordinate support initiatives throughout the Critical Infrastructure community. The developers hope that the committee’s efforts will help the Critical Infrastructure Sectors evolve and strengthen their security and compliance postures by providing a one-stop shop for compliance, security, and privacy requirements.

The 502 Project Critical Infrastructure Security Working Group serves as an advisory body to support Critical Infrastructure policy stewardship, facilitate resource and information exchange, and monitor emerging Critical Infrastructure learning technologies and techniques across the Critical Infrastructure community in Florida, initially, and then across the United States.

As of May 2025, we have developed or are in early stages of development of creating working groups in partnership with the local community, industry, government, and academic organizations in the following states:
